Our campaign targeted specific legislative districts as well as carefully defined audiences with educational direct mail that prompted citizens to engage with legislators.
The campaign also utilized statewide digital advertising to targeted demographics. Advertisements connected to the effort's educational website which included instructions on how to connect with legislators.
Along with achieving the DSEA's goal of increasing special education funding, the "Close The Gap" campaign won SEAC's 2019 Award as the nation's Best Government & Political Affairs Award for its effectiveness, strategy and creative.
