Direct mail focused on proving Murkowski's effectiveness on issues important to NEA-AK members as well as her bipartisan bona fides. Final communications provided NEA-AK members "permission" to vote for Murkowski by having other members like them deliver the message. Every mailer included a simple graphic mimicking the ballot to teach members how to write-in their vote.
